I wish it would show the recording on a a volume scale so it would be easier to find noise during long quiet recordings.

Superbe application

Simple app, easy to use. Used the download option the other day. It worked great, and I was able to share the recorded audio clips with some friends (and were talking about an hour long recording)!

Nice work for professionals

Very quick to start recording, love the playback speed control.

I am generally well pleased with iRecorder, but unhappy with the change to m4a. aiff loads directly into audacity which I use for audio processing -- m4a does not. I would be happier if I had a choice

input recording level pre-set so high that even quite guitar strumming distorts terribly! no way of changing input level! BOOOO!

The sound quality is so clear. Definitely a great pocket gadget when you need back up. Picks up sound very clearly, even when in your pocket.

Good Voice Recorder, but not very good for recording instruments (gain too high, and cant control it). Also cant name/sort files or create folders. Small file sizes show this app is mainly for voice, not general audio.

Does everything that I expect it to. Makes me happy (and I am a very tough customer). Only wish I could download ALL audio files in one fell swoop (i.e. as a single batch) via WiFi.

Not good! often does not record the first recording you make - you have to make sure the app is working every time you use it.Preferred previous version. One of five recording attempts does not work and has to be re recorded. Deletion now a two step process as we can no longer "right swipe" to delete One star that used to be a 5 star and yes I have re installed app to try to fix - how can you guys get worse instead of better?

Recording doesnt work on the first try. You have to delete the files individually rather that select multiple files and press delete ounce. If these are corrected I would rate it with 5 stars.

I love this recorder: easy, dependable, easy to share and rename tracks. Its terrific. Others mention not being able to record first try; Ive not had this problem. If you want to set levels etc buy a device with better microphones than a phone. For general recording this app is excellent.

I was using note2self but had syncing and playback issues. Im very happy with this app and use it almost daily.

Does what its supposed to. I use it to aid in transcribing music.

Soooo much better than that quickvoice app

I record in the car so I dont forget lyrics that come to me.
